star tourist residence is centrally located in the charming
village of Petit-Saguenay. This 2 bedroom home is new, well kept
and very clean. It backs on to the Petit-Saguenay River (salmon
river). It is a short walk to all of the amenities of Petit-Saguenay
such as grocery shopping, bank, hardware store, cafes and restaurants.
The house is 3 km from the magnificent Saguenay Fjord. The federal
pier on the Saguenay river is a great place to fish, to scramble
around at low tide, or to go sea kayaking, hiking and mountain biking.
Nearby there is also a great sand beach, which is very rare on the
Saguenay, great place to have a campfire and watch the Beluga whales
swim about! The area is paradise in the winter for snow mobile,
skiing, skating and snow showing. The house is approximately 10
km from L'Anse St-Jean (one of the most picturesque village in Quebec)
and the beautiful ski area, Mont
Edouard which is surrounded by the Saguenay National Park. It
is about one hour drive from Chicoutimi and Tadoussac (one of the
best places in Canada for whale watching).
This area is so pristine that the you can take your water jugs
and fill them up from a natural spring just behind the house, hence
the name "À La Maison Belle Fontaine". No need to buy bottled
water here!!

| The kitchen is bright, has a nice sitting area and lots
of room to work. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Stove, Oven,
Kettle, Toaster, Large Microwave, Coffee Maker, dishes, utensils,
dish cloths and dish towels. |

| The master bedroom has a double bed size. It is at the
rear of the house and overlooks the river. Bed linen is provided. |

| The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a single on top
and a double on the bottom. The bottom double folds into a couch and
makes a nice sitting and reading area during the day. This room is
at the rear of the house and also overlooks the river. Bed linen is
provided. |

The bathroom is large, spacious and has an ensuite full size washer
and dryer. The 6' antique claw tub is a delight to sit in! All towels
are supplied. |
